ASSIGNMENT: Personality Disorders Presentation

Instructions: 

For this assignment you will be creating a visual presentation using any media of your choice. You can make a Google presentation, a Prezi, a Glogster poster, or any other online media that you would like. You can also choose to simply make a poster by hand, or make a set of several smaller posters by hand if you would prefer. It doesn't matter what you use, your presentation must contain the items below in order to get full credit. 

Choose one of the personality disorders we learned about in this unit (borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, or one of the other personality disorders included in the DSM). Click HERE to review the list of disorders. For the disorder that you choose you will need to include: 

• A general description of the disorder.
• A list of symptoms of the disorder. 
• Causes of the disorder.
• Treatment for the disorder. 
• Find an example of a person who was known to have the disorder. Tell about that person and their life. Include a picture of them. 
• Your sources.

If you need to submit a file, follow these instructions: 

1. Complete the assignment
2. Click Add Submission
3. Click the + Add  button
4. Click the button Choose a File to open the file picker
5. Use the File Picker to select the file to upload. Click Upload this File.
6. Click Save Changes

If you want to make a Google Presentation, follow these instructions: 

1. Go to your Google Docs and then click Create>Document in the left hand corner
2. Type/Complete your assignment
3. When you are finished click Share in the right hand corner
4. Under Who Has Access click Change
5. Choose People at Mountain Heights Academy who have the link can view
6. Choose from the drop down Access field: Allow anyone at Mountain Heights Academy to Edit and then click Save. (Checking this box allows your instructor to write comments on your assignment)
7. Copy the Link to the document (the top field of the Sharing Settings window)
8. To submit your assignment, in Moodle click Add Submission
9. Paste the link to your Google Doc in the box
10. Click Save Changes to submit your assignment
