ASSIGNMENT: Centripetal Acceleration (10 points)

This assignment is based on the material in "LESSON: Centripetal Acceleration", so please view that first.

Imagine this scenario: you and your friend have just ridden the most exciting roller coaster of your lives.  Your friend says, "Man, I really felt the centrifugal force during that last loop-de-loop.  I was glued to my seat!"  Since you are such a kind and scholarly person, you decide to use your knowledge of physics to correct them.

Your task is to explain to your friend exactly why they are incorrect, and to use Newton's Laws to explain what was really happening to them during that loop-de-loop.

1. Click Add Submission.

2. Type your response to your friend in a paragraph (at least 3-5 sentences).

3. When you are finished, click Save Changes.

After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
