21. ASSIGNMENT: Projectile Motion Challenge (Due December 8)
ASSIGNMENT: Projectile Motion Challenge (15 points)
For this assignment, you will be solving the following problem:
You launch an object from ground level. Its velocity is 40 m/s at 30 degrees above the horizontal.
1. What is the highest the object will ever go?
2. How long will it take for the object to hit the ground again?
3. How far did the object travel horizontally?
4. What is the object's final velocity, just before it hits the ground? (include magnitude and direction)
Complete the above problem, showing all of your work. This will include descriptions, diagrams, and mathematical calculations, so you will either need to complete this in a Google Doc, on paper, or in paint. As I look at your solution to the problem, I want every step to be clear and understandable.
