For this assignment you will learn about an engineer and their job. Then you will write a 2 - 3 paragraph summary of what you learned. This is worth up to 10 points in the assignment category. That means it will replace 10 points worth of missed assignment points.

Directions:

1. Click one of the links below. Click on one of the engineers' names to learn about them.

2. Watch videos and read about the engineer and the job.

3. Then open up a Google Doc to write your summary.

4. Write your summary. You could write about things like:

  • Who is the engineer?
  • How did they first get interested in engineering?
  • What do they do?
  • How do they do their job (do they build prototypes, do experiments, etc.)?
  • Where do they work at (do they travel all over the world or stay in one place)?
  • Do you think you would like to have their job? Why or why not?

5. Make sure you write 2-3 paragraphs. Proof read your summary to make sure you used correct grammar and punctuation. To get full points, make sure you completely summarize the article.

6. Change the share settings on your document to "can edit" , and paste the link into the submission box.

Let me know if you need any help with this.
