Argumentative: Select a Topic and Annotated Bibliography (25 Points)

Learning Objective: Students will demonstrate their ability to identify reliable sources that provide evidence to support claims and counterclaims. Students will conduct research in the Utah Online Library and cite resources in the proper format as they complete their annotated bibliographies.

To turn in this assignment:

1. Click here to open the Worksheet. The worksheet will open in Google Docs.
2. Choose File then Make a Copy. This will give you a copy that you can type in.
3. Bookmark your copy of the Argumentative Writing Doc to have easy access to it over the next few weeks.
4. Complete week 2 of the doc and save the document in Google Docs as LASTNAME Assignment Name.
5. When you are finished click Share in the right-hand corner
6. Change the sharing setting to Anyone at Mountain Heights Academy can edit. This will allow your teacher to edit and comment on your assignment.
7. Click Copy Link
8. To submit your assignment, return to this page and click Add Submission
9. Paste the link to your Google Doc into the Online Text box (ctrl+v)
10. Click Save Changes
