6.3 ASSIGNMENT: Weekly Activity Log (Due December 13)
Weekly Activity Log (15 points)
Learning Objective: Create and maintain a journal of participation in self-selected activities, including duration and intensity.
Why This Matters: Regular physical activity is key to improving cardiovascular health. 150 minutes per week is the ideal target for a teenager. This assignment helps you build toward that goal depending on the number of school days each week.
Instructions: Your goal is to complete at least 150 minutes of exercise this week, ideally spread over 3-4 sessions. If you don’t reach the required time, that’s okay—log whatever time you did manage.
For this week's activity log, you will open the template you created at the beginning of the quarter, find the appropriate week, and document the following:
- The date of each workout.
- The activity/type of each workout.
- The intensity of each workout (mild/moderate/intense).
- The time spent doing each workout. Please record the time in minutes not hours (Example: 1 hr = 60 min).
- Add up all workout times to create a total time at the bottom of the table.

To turn in this assignment:
