4.6 ASSIGNMENT: KWL Chart (Due February 15)

Directions:  Complete the "K" (What do you know?)  and "W" (What do you wonder?) section of the chart about the topic you selected in the previous assignment.  Do not complete the "L" section, we will come back to that part when you are done with your informative essay.  

STEP 1:  Get KWL Chart HERE.  Click FILE and MAKE A COPY. You can now type on your own copy of this KWL chart. 

STEP 2: Fill out the Know (K) section with 2 things that you KNOW about your chosen explorer. 

Example:  Roald Amundsen was a Norwegian polar explorer who was the first person to fly over the North Pole in blimp and was the first person to reach the South Pole.  

STEP 3: Fill out the What (W) section with 3-5 things that you WONDER about with regard to your chosen explorer. 

Example: Why did Amundsen use a blimp? What made him want to reach the South Pole? 

STEP 4: When you are finished, click SHARE in upper right hand corner.  Change document so that it allows "any one at Mountain Heights Academy to Edit".  This will allow me to write on your document. 

STEP 5:  Copy URL (control+c) Return to this assignment and click ADD SUBMISSION to open a text box. 

STEP 6: Paste (control+v) your URL into the text box and click SAVE SUBMISSION to submit.  

After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
