7.5 ASSIGNMENT: Informative Essay Peer or Adult Edit (Due March 8)

DIRECTIONS:  An important aspect of the writing process is editing.  To help you complete the editing step, you will have someone your own age (in the same year of school is fine) or OLDER than you edit your paper.  Do NOT have someone younger than you peer-edit your paper.  You may also have an adult edit your essay. Please let your teacher know if you need help finding someone to edit your essay. 

STEP 1:  You will use the "Peer or Adult Edit Guide" found by clicking HERE.  

STEP 2:  Click FILE and COPY in upper hand corner.  This will make an editable copy of the document. Rename your document LAST NAME. Peer/Adult Edit. Example: DALEY.Peer/Adult Edit

STEP 3:  Have your editor fill in the answers, or they can dictate their answers to you and you can type.

STEP 4: Click SHARE in upper right hand corner and copy URL (control+c).  Make sure that the settings allow anyone at Mountain Heights Academy with the link to edit.

STEP 5:  When you are finished, return to this assignment. Click ADD SUBMISSION to open up a text box. Paste (control +v) your link into the text box. Click SAVE CHANGES to submit assignment. 

After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
