8.1 ASSIGNMENT: Final Draft Informative Essay (Due March 15)

You're almost there!  You are at the final step of the writing process, The Final Draft!  Use the comments and feedback from the Peer or Adult Editing Guide to refine your essay.  Go to your google drive and personally edit and polish your essay.  Make sure you have at least 3 resources and at least 1 resource is from The Gale Research Center 6-8 (from assignment 5.4). When you are done with your essay and you are ready for me to grade it (by the due date of course) copy and past the link in the submission box below. 

STEP 1: Polish your paper in Google Docs. 

STEP 2: Click SHARE in upper right hand corner. This will open your share settings. Check for the following. Be sure to allow your teacher to edit by putting her email where it says PEOPLE. Also, make sure that it says that your teacher has the right to edit.  This will allow your teachers to write comments on your paper! 

STEP 3: Copy the link by clicking on COPY LINK. 

STEP 4: Return to this assignment and click ADD SUBMISSION to open a text box. Paste (control+v) your paper link into the text box. 

STEP 5: Take a deep breath and let it out. Click ADD SUBMISSION to turn in your assignment. 

STEP 6: Pat your self on the back. Nice work!
