ASSIGNMENT: Acids and Bases in Industry Report (30 Points)

Instructions:

For this assignment you will research and report on three different uses of acids and bases in industry. Use the internet to find examples of 3 different reactions involving acids and bases that are used in industry: such as agriculture, medicine, mining, manufacturing, construction, etc.

Your report needs to include the following information about each example you choose: 

• Name and formula of the acids and/or bases used. 
• Description of how and why the acids and/or bases are used. 
  
• The chemical equation of the reaction that is happening. 
• Why this reaction is important to the industry. 
• List of all sources used.
  

You can present your report in a visual presentation such as prezi, google slides, etc., or you can submit a written report.
