Finding Z-Critical Values for a Lower Tail Test

We're slowly learning the steps for Hypothesis Testing. So far we've seen the first three steps. Then we learned about Standard Normal Distribution -- we did this in preparation for learning step 4 of hypothesis testing. In this lesson video I will show you how to do step 4 of hypothesis testing; using the standard normal distribution to find z-critical values.

Finding Z-Critical Values for an Upper Tail Test

In this video you will see an example of how to find z-critical values for upper tail tests. This type of test is slightly different than the lower tail test because our rejection region is shaded ABOVE our critical value.

Finding Z-Critical Values for Two Tail Tests

In this lesson video you will see an example of how to find z-critical values for a two tail hypothesis test. In two tail hypothesis tests there are TWO rejection regions. Therefore, we will need to find TWO z-critical values.
