Rough Draft Checklist

You are now ready to write your rough draft! Take your outline from last week and use it as your map to write your five paragraph informative essay.  Make sure that each paragraph is comprised of at least five complete sentences, and that you have an introduction paragraph, three supporting paragraphs and a conclusion paragraph.  You will need to make sure that your paper is in MLA format.  For an example MLA format paper, click here.

Step 1: Write your rough draft using MLA Formatted Writing Template.  Copy and paste the Works Cited Page you created last week on to the last page of your rough draft.

Step 2: Check through your essay using the Rough Draft Checklist 


After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
