The Underground Railroad Escape from Slavery

The year is 1860 and  nearly 4 million enslaved African American Americans live in the South.  Click HERE to follow one of these slaves along the Underground Railroad, a secret network of hiding places and brave people who helped runaway slaves reach freemdom.
