2.3 ASSIGNMENT: Identifying Main Idea Practice (Due April 5)

It is important that you get practice recognizing the main idea. Practice makes perfect! Click HERE to access many resources on main idea, but for this assignment, scroll down to the bottom and watch the PowerPoint titled "Main Idea Informational PowerPoint."

Complete the "practice" explained on slide 7.

Directions:

1. Click "add submission." In the text box, write a one sentence summary (also known as paraphrasing) for each passage, as well as a title that could be used for that passage (there is one passage per slide).

3. Type your answer for the 5 passages on slides 8-12. Follow this outline for your submission:
