9.3 ASSIGNMENT: Submit Final Draft of Romeo and Juliet Essay (Due October 26)

Final Draft of Romeo & Juliet Essay 

100 points

Over the last few weeks, you have been working on your Romeo and Juliet Essay.  You will now need to submit your final draft. 

Make sure you use the Rough Draft resource located in this week's lesson before you submit your final draft.  When writing your final draft, use the essay template to help you properly format your essay. Use 12 point Times Roman font, double-spaced, with 1" margins.

To submit the final draft of your essay copy the link to your Google Doc. Click Add Submission in Moodle. Paste the link in the submission box. Click Save Changes.

Essay Grading Rubric: (100 points)

_____ Introductory Paragraph w/strong thesis (25 points)

_____ Body Paragraphs: Strong topic sentences, sufficient support (2-3 sentences), quotes & transitions (30 points)

_____ Conclusion (restate thesis & sum up) (20 points)

_____ Mechanics, Grammar, Word Choice, Fluency, & Voice (25 points)

Only one submission of your final draft will be accepted, so make sure you ask your teacher in advance if you would like help with this assignment.
