Final Draft of Romeo & Juliet Essay 

100 points

Last week you wrote a rough draft of your essay. If you did not write your essay last week, please refer to the resources in Week 8 to help you write your essay. This week you will turn in your final draft.

When writing your final draft, use the essay template. Use 12 point Times Roman font, double-spaced, with 1" margins.

To submit the final draft of your essay copy the link to your Google Doc. Click Add Submission in Moodle. Paste the link in the submission box. Click Save Changes.

Essay Grading Rubric: (100 points)

_____ Introductory Paragraph w/strong thesis (25 points)

_____ Body Paragraphs: Strong topic sentences, sufficient support (2-3 sentences), quotes & transitions (30 points)

_____ Conclusion (restate thesis & sum up) (20 points)

_____ Mechanics, Grammar, Word Choice, Fluency, & Voice (25 points)
