Lewis and Clark Bio Poem

Below is an example of how to write a bio poem.  Using the format provided, write a  bio poem for Lewis, Clark or someone in their exploration group.  Write your bio poem in a Google doc, and make sure to edit for spelling, capitalization and glaring grammatical errors before submitting.  Use the resources from this week and the websites from your websearch to gather information about the person you selected.  Also, you can use http://www.biography.com/ for a biography on the person you selected.

To complete:

  1. Go to your Google Docs and then click Create>Document in the left hand corner

  2. Type/Complete your assignment

  3. When you are finished click Share in the right hand corner

  4. Under Who Has Access click Change

  5. Choose People at Mountain Heights Academy who have the link can view

  6. Choose from the drop down Access field: Allow anyone at Mountain Heights Academy to Edit and then click Save. (Checking this box allows your instructor to write comments on your assignment)

  7. Copy the Link to the document (the top field of the Sharing Settings window)

  8. To submit your assignment, in Moodle click Add Submission

  9. Paste the link to your Google Doc in the box

  10. Click Save Changes to submit your assignment

After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
