ASSIGNMENT: Element Presentation (20 Points)

Instructions:

For this assignment you will choose an element from the periodic table and create a presentation about the history, properties, and uses of that element. Your presentation needs to include the following information about the element you choose: 

• Name - explain how the element got its name. 
  
• Symbol
  
• Atomic Number
  
• Atomic Mass
  
• Physical Properties - color, texture, melting point, boiling point, etc.
  
• Chemical Properties - What other elements does it react with? 
  
• History - How was it discovered? Where can it be found? 
  
• Uses - provide a detailed description of the uses of the element.
  
• Sources
  

Be sure to include relevant pictures in your presentation. Your presentation should be neat and visually appealing. Choose the presentation method that works best for you. You could use Google Slides, Prezi, a video, a poster, etc. 

Submission Instructions

1. Complete the assignment

4. Click Save Changes

After you have completed this assignment, it will be marked as complete with a checkmark after it has been graded by the instructor.
