ASSIGNMENT: Everyday Reactions Presentation (20 points)
For this assignment you will choose a chemical reaction to investigate. You will create a presentation about the reaction. Your presentation must include the following information:
- The correct chemical equation for the reaction.
- The correct names of each chemical in the reaction.
- A written description of what happens during the reaction.
- A description of where the reaction takes place.
- A description of why the reaction is important.
- An explanation of why you chose to research the reaction.
- Include a list of all sources you use.
- Also, be sure to include pictures and create an organized and visually appealing presentation.
You can present the information in any format you would like. You could use Google Slides, a Prezi, a poster, etc. Choose a reaction from any area that interests you. Some ideas to help you get started could include:
- reactions found in living organisms
- reactions that happen during cooking or cleaning
- reactions used in medicine or in the medical industry
- reactions used to create products in factories or business
- reactions found in the environment such as acid rain
- reactions used in hair products, fireworks, explosives, art, etc.
