Britain's Goal

As the British began making plans to beat the American colonist they had goals they hoped to achieve. The first goal was to contain revolutionary sentiment to Massachusetts. They knew that most of the active patriots lived in Mass. and they hopes by beating the army there it would stop all hopes of beating the British Army.
