Causes of the American Revolution

Watch this video about the events that lead up to the American Revolutionary war. Pay attention to the different Acts; you will be quizzed on them. As you watch the video, consider the following questions and be ready to provide answers:

- What was the Boston Tea Party and what was it in response to?

- What were the Coersive Acts and why were they called the Intolerable Acts by the colonists?

- What was the First Continental Congress and what was decided?
