Practice Elaboration in Utah Compose

Directions: Please complete the following steps to access the resource on enhancing style and effect in essays.

Step 1: Go to Utah Compose.

Step 2: Go to genius to look up your SSID (Your SSID is located at the top of your profile in genius)
Step 3: Click "user login" at the top right of utahcompose.com .  Add 3 0's to the beginning of your SSID number and use this as both your username and your password. Note- some of you have changed your password in UtahCompose.  If you don't know your password, contact your teacher for help.
Step 3: Click on your English 8, Period 7 course.

Step 4: Click on the “Lessons” Tab.

Step 5: Click Category “Development of Ideas.”

Step 6: Complete an elaboration lesson of your choice.

After you have completed this part of the lesson, you can check the associated box on the main course page to mark it as complete
