Discuss Fever Chapters 9-13

10 Points

Instructions: Choose to respond to ONE of the three questions below as well as at least ONE post from a fellow student. This means you should have TWO posts.

Questions:

1. How does Eliza show courage? Give a specific example.

2. Find an example of descriptive imagery and explain why it is powerful.

3. Put yourself in the position of the farmer who gave Grandfather and Mattie a ride, then kicked them off when he thought Grandfather was sick. "We have to take care of our own, sir" (83). What would you have done in a similar situation?

Guidelines:

After you post your discussion, reply/comment on ONE of your peer’s posts. This means that you will have to make TWO posts--an original post on the topic and a comment to a peer’s post.

Remember, this is not text messaging. Use proper capitalization, punctuation and grammar. It makes your discussion easier to read and helps you earn full points. Please be respectful in your responses to fellow students.  A simple, "I agree" is not a sufficient response.  Be thoughtful and thorough.  3 sentence minimum for all posts.
